Understanding the service

What is this service?

Taoist Blessing Lamp Offering is a private lamp offering dedicated to one living person and one principal intention.

A dedicated lamp is prepared, lit and offered in Shandong, China as a traditional expression of reverence and sincere intention. Private photographic and video documentation is delivered after completion.

Traditional context

Lamps hold an important place within Chinese Taoist religious and ceremonial culture. The act of lighting a dedicated lamp gives a sincere intention a visible form centred on reverence, attentiveness and prayer.

This product is intentionally offered as a lamp offering service rather than a full rite. Its central act is the preparation and lighting of a dedicated lamp for one living person and one principal intention.

The offering is made in China on your behalf; you do not need to attend in person.

Choose Taoist Blessing Lamp Offering when the act of dedicating and lighting a lamp is the central service.

Choose Blessing Rite when you want a focused Taoist ceremony with a broader ceremonial sequence. Choose Yang-Shi Rite for a more extensive ceremony concerning an interconnected life situation.
