Understanding the service

What is this service?

Shou-Sheng Debt Rite is a private Taoist ceremony centred on the traditional religious concept of symbolic spiritual repayment and dedication.

The ceremony is individually prepared in Shandong, China for those who personally wish to observe this traditional practice.

Traditional context

Certain Taoist and Chinese religious traditions contain a concept commonly known as Shou-Sheng Debt.

Within this religious framework, ceremonial repayment represents a symbolic act of acknowledgement, dedication and religious observance. The concept is distinct from an ordinary financial or legal debt.

The Shou-Sheng Debt Rite allows someone who personally understands or values this tradition to observe it through a formal Taoist ceremony. OneTao does not claim that every person carries Shou-Sheng Debt.

Choose Shou-Sheng Debt Rite only when you specifically wish to observe the traditional Shou-Sheng Debt practice.

Choose Wealth Treasury Rite for a prosperity-related intention, Blessing Rite for a broader focused intention, or Yang-Shi Rite for a more extensive living-person ceremony.
